Context: I've always been a fat guy. 2019 was the first time ever I went to the gym at 300lbs. At that time, I lost weight like water. Lost 100 pounds in 11 months and I thought I was done and just wanted to stay in low 200s for the rest of my life. ( Did a lot of weight training with a trainer during this time )
Then COVID hit, I got lazy again and gained it all back, basically I hit 350lb ( I know fk me 😔😠). Now 2 months back, I've hit the gym again and 60 days later ( weight training daily ) I've barely lost 2.5 pounds. It's unbelievable and demotivating. I've also made sure to 100gm protein daily and trying to keep it under 2000 cals a day.
I think insulin resistance has fucked up my body and I have no clue what to do to start loosing the pounds. I know it's unlikely but does anyone have a similar experience and what did you do handle it? or any other tips/advice?
