Help with daily calorie number

I know that every person’s daily calorie intake can be different depending on where they're at and what their goals are.

For me, I’m at 400, and my goal is 250. On MyFitnessPal, I put in all my information, and it said that my daily number is around 3800 with wanting to lose 2 lbs a week and being lightly active (30 minutes of walking a day). 3800 seems absurdly high, but I admit that I know nothing. I tried a few online calorie calculators and I got a pretty wide range of daily calory goals.

I thought I might just go with a daily goal of 2500, but I obviously don't want to starve myself and do anything unhealthy/unrealistic.

Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks!
