Can I bring a carer to my work disciplinary meeting?

So basically I have a disciplinary meeting at work due to an absence.

I have multiple sclerosis which is a disability and for that reason I am asking my manager if I can bring my carer along to the hearing. It has been declined by my manger. Although I have the legally right to y a carer… Bearing in mind my employer knows of my condition. By my manger declining my request I now take this as discrimination against my disability.

What should be my further action? I don’t want to attend without my carer.

Thank you for any support and advice.
