I recently hit my goal weight; going from 187 to 130. I decided to start back exercising again, but I’m having some strange side effects.
I know that exercise can make you more hungry, but I’m specifically craving bread. I eat the 45 calorie high-fiber bread, so the results are not as crazy as they could be.
The strangest side effect is being hyper emotional. During my walk/jogs at lunch, I take my puppy. She is very sweet, but all over the place. Normally, I just get a bit irritated with her. The last two days I was outright angry with her. I tried to rein in my anger, but I let out several words that would get me blocked.
Also, I have been weepy for the last few days. Sometimes just watching television can make me emotional. The thing is that I’m not an emotional person. I am generally less emotional than others.
I’m 57, but I went through menopause a few years ago. I’m on the other side.
I’m just wondering if anyone else here has had weird side effects from exercising or even dieting?
