Getting sick: Should calorie intake be adjusted?

So I'm currently 32M, 5'8" 194 Pounds from my initial starting weight of 246.

I've been steadily tracking my calories and eating at a 3-600 calorie deficit daily.

But right now I feel something nasty coming on and I don't know what it is yet. I plan on going to the doctor tomorrow but I'm already running a fever.

Which begs the question: How does one 'diet' when they're sick? (Flu, covid etc)

Should I eat at maintenance or above to help my body fight through this or should I continue my current plan? Is it healthy to diet through illness?
