Is my scale lying to me?

Hi, I'm a 23 M and have been on a weight loss journey starting in October of last year. I started at 260 and have gotten down to 189(?) as of this morning. My goal was to hover in the 170 range as anything below 179 is considered a healthy weight according to my bmi at 5'11, but from just looking at myself I feel like I have so much more to lose. I can definitely see the progress I've made up until now, but seeing how supposedly close I am to my goal I expected to look a bit better than I do now and it's kind of demoralizing. I know that just means I should shift my goal but it also kind of feels like my scale could be off and giving me a false sense of where I'm actually at. I still have a surprising amount of thigh, belly, and cheek fat and it seems crazy to think most of that will go away within the next 10-15 pounds, but maybe I'm just overthinking things. Mostly just a vent post, maybe I'll update once I actually hit my goal!
