Help with deciding goal weight.

Hi! I am 26M, 5’9”. I started doing CICO at around 99 kgs and now I am at 84.5. I have a goal weight of 70 and that is when I want stop being in calorie deficit and just focus on protein and exercise.

For the past few weeks, I had great restraint and only had home made meals. Was losing weight every week. But I had Chipotle yesterday, my first outside meal in a long time. I made sure that it was low on calories (605 cals) and high in protein (double protein). I was still in calorie deficit for the day. During my daily weight check, I see that my weight has gone up by 0.75 kgs. I understand this is probably because of sodium and my weight would be back down in couple of days. In fact, I have experienced this phenomenon multiple times during my journey.

But now, I am wondering if I should CICO until I am 65/67kgs and then eat normally (below or at maintainence) to be at stable 70kgs.

Does everyone consider water weight in their final goal weight? Does everybody who wants to be X kgs, does CICO until they are (X-5) kgs? I know I can always change my goal weight as I wish later but I currently have momentum with me and would like to continue CICO till the goal weight without breaks. Thanks for reading!
