I DID IT!

Female 5’6”

SW : 215lbs

GW : 155lbs

CW : 154.5lbs

After an all-time high of 215lbs after pregnancy and over 10 years with an overweight BMI, I finally set a goal in January that I stuck to - I wanted to reach a healthy BMI by my birthday and I actually did it!

In January I was 183.2lbs and I have counted calories on and off for 15+ years and when I looked back on the LoseIt! app I was shocked to realize that I had been overweight (by BMI) for over a decade! I always felt tired with 2 small kids, sore back, poor self esteem, but it was a real come-to-Jesus moment to realize how long I had been overweight and how long it had been since I’d felt good about myself. Previous tries had always stalled at 175lbs but I was able to push through this time and while it wasn’t the magic self-esteem pill I thought it would be, I feel better and look forward to building on this progress.

(I know BMI isn’t a perfect tool but it did give me a starting point and I also know that for my height 154lbs is actually the start of a healthy BMI, but I miscalculated early on and I am going to give myself this one LOL)

This community has been a huge part of my success and I just wanted to thank y’all!
