Hey guys just want to share my own experience with electrolytes and eating in a calorie deficit. I am not doing low carb/keto by any means. And I always equated need for electrolytes with a keto lifestyle. I eat around 100-150G of carbs per day and 1900 calories. I have been doing this since Jan 1st. After about two weeks I started feeling just off. Kind of lightheaded but not to the point where I would fall over. I do workout 5X a week moderately. I googled the amount of carbs in the standard diet and it's about 225-325! So I am way under that. I decided yesterday to drink an LMNT just to see. Today I woke up I felt clear headed, did the best workout since I started this calorie deficit, and best of all not experiencing the same "off" feeling I've had going on. I just want to share that even though I'm not doing keto I am benefiting from electrolytes just because of the calorie deficit I'm in. Have any of you benefited from electrolytes & are not doing Keto?
