Can someone explain the LoseIt weekly calorie budget?

I use the Lose It! App for tracking my food. Yesterday, I ate way over my daily allotted calories by like 717 calories. My mom unexpectedly bought me my favourite fast food order. I ate 2,289 calories for the day. Which I probably should not of but the only thing I can do is move forwards.

It now says “Prior to today I am 403 over my weekly budget” but I still have the rest of today, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday left to log? How does that make sense?

I’ve lost 68.7 pounds so far, plan on losing around 31.2 more pounds.
