A stone down in 17 days; what I've noticed so far

Hi all! I (25, f, sw: 225, cw: 211) have reached my first milestone, and wanted to share some of things I've noticed - mainly for advice!

  • Calorie tracking really highlights the good, the bad and the ugly! I've noticed I'm severely lacking protein, mainly as I just volume eat veg and am a vegetarian. I'm eating lots of egg and quorn, but has anyone else found a low calorie way to boost protein?

  • My energy is so much more abundant! I really thought I'd feel tired and weaker, given I'm eating so much less - but nope! I feel really clear headed and able to exercise much more, often walking for 1/2 hours on a walk pad whilst I work from home. I never used to use this walk pad, more just a clothes horse lol, but now I feel like I'm itching to get out of my seat! My question is does this stay the same, or is a crash coming?

  • I wake up feeling thinner. This is a mad one, but friends always made jokes about how they wished their stomach was as flat all day as in the mornings. I never really related, because I'm bloated all the time. Now I wake up feeling genuinely slimmer, which is fun to experience - even if it's just til mid morning!

Has anyone else noticed anything different at around this milestone?❤️
