I need advice

I am recently cancer free. During chemo I lost 60 pounds, but in 3 months I gained all 60 back. And I find that it’s way more fat than I had before (I lost mostly muscle mass). I am 25 and 5’8 and I currently weigh 272 pounds. I think that all the stress (and honestly food tasting better after chemo) has left me with a problem with overeating. I constantly feel hungry even if I eat a high protein meal. I’ve been trying my best to stick to a calorie deficit of 1800 and I’ve been doing well. But is this enough to help me shave off this extra weight? I am working out a few times a week also, I guess I am just lost and need to know if what I am doing will even work. What can I do to decrease my appetite?
