I think changing apps will help

Back in 2017, I lose 20lb using MyFitnessPal but regained it over the past years due to a lot of lifestyle changes. I cannot count the number of times I made a commitment to get back to calorie counting and losing weight, only to fizzle out within a week. Well, I finally got to the point where I think I am finally ready to be serious again. I have realized that with this free-for-all quarantine eating I have been doing that I am damaging my body. My blood sugar has not been the best, my energy is low, my digestion is shot and I just in general feel poorly. Before I wanted to lose weight out of frustration over what I look like; now I feel like it is more a calm, dispassionate understanding that I really need to get healthier.

I had a flash of insight and decided to try the LoseIt app. I liked MFP but my rational was I had started viewing that app as a lost cause: something I had failed at numerous times before. Starting afresh with a new app gives me a sense of this being a different path. There are enough differences with the new app that fiddling with it and inputting my data seems exciting and novel. I have positive feelings about LoseIt while MFP feels like nothing but failure.

I think this time I will succed! I want to at least lose 10Lb and hopefully 15LB. Wish me luck!
