Having a difficult time losing Belly fat

Hi Everyone,

Long time lurker here. I've been keeping up with a workout regime for the past month and half that my friend gave me using a 15 lb kettlebell, 3 lb weights, and bodyweight workouts. I've been really watching what I eat and checking the nutrition labels, drinking 64 oz of water a day, (Chicken, Salmon, Protein shakes/waffles, smoothie bowls, apples, etc.) I have an occasional glass of wine or doughnut/cookie once in a while but nothing I feel would keep me off course or derail me completely.

I see definition in my arms, and I tried on a pair of older shorts the other day and they didn't feel tight so I know I'm making progress. However, I have this pad of belly fat on the front of my stomach that just won't go away. It sticks out over my clothes unless I'm wearing something higher waisted.

Am I not eating correctly or am I not doing the right workouts to lower that belly fat? Do I need to start measuring out my food/somehow create a diet regime? Or am I simply not waiting long enough for results?

I'm currently 26, female, 149lbs wanting to get to 120 lbs.
