Started losing weight back in April. Had to lose 30kg, have already lost 17,5kg however the difference is minimal. HOW?!

Hi all,

I am a 18 year old guy. I am 181/182cm tall and I when I started losing weight in April, I used to weigh 110kg. I now weigh around 92,5kg which means I have lost 17,5kg. My goal is to hit 80kg.

My objective is to lose 1 kg/week which I have almost always done (btw, I took an 8-week break or so which is why I haven’t lost as much as you’d think). I started lifting 5 weeks ago to preserve muscle loss, I had a plateau when I started but I have broken that plateau.

I eat 1600 calories a week. My TDEE is around 2350 which means I eat at a 750cal deficit. I lift three times a week and I hit around 7500 steps on average per day.

So now my problem is that even after this massive loss the difference is not as big as I had hoped. Yes, I know it takes time but I have been dieting for 4 months now, and yes I know the toilet paper effect but surely you’d expect some bigger results now?

Literally no one has noticed my weigh loss. My clothes have gone down in sizing, from the side I see a difference but from the front I see little to no difference. I am not losing motivation but it does bother me.

I have compared pictures btw.

Anyone who has had a similar experience?
