Tips or advice on eating moderation when at parties?

My work is having a small lunch and these types of events generally have me overeat due to general social anxieties where I find comfort in snacking and doing stuff with my hands. I’ve been tracking my macros and calories for the past two weeks and lost around 5 lbs, and don’t want to screw it up. I feel should preface it’s not a “oh eating bad this one time is going to ruin my life” thing, it’s just I’m trying to lose as much weight as I can before the holidays since I’m going on a long vacation with family and want to fully enjoy it without constraints. I’m completely aware keeping myself away from enjoying life is unsustainable, this is just more of a set up for being able to enjoy life more later.

Anyways the food is supposed to be pizza and subs sandwiches I think. Vegetarian and regular food, but besides meat-lovers, not much on the protein side and all fairly calorie dense.

I was thinking of bringing my own food to fill up beforehand? Like veggie sticks and some kind of high protein source like sliced turkey. That way I at least can get my own protein count in. Idk lol any advice?
