Hello, long time lurker here I started my first weightloss journey end of september 2024 at 95 kg (209 lbs) for 1,65m (5’4”) a goal weight of 70 kg (154lbs). I got down to 82 (180 lbs) in like mid june right before vacation. I was really happy about it but i was about to travel for vacation and see family, i was ready to gain back a few kg during that time because i didn’t want to worry about counting calories and eating less or something different than the rest of my family for the whole 2 months. (I know people tend to try to stay slim during summer but i was trynna enjoy you know🤪)
Anyways i come back beggining of september at 85 kg (187lbs) which fine because i expected worse but i think “ok lets get back on track tho because i wanna get to 70 kg (154 lbs) by next summer”. Its only been 3 weeks and i struggle tremendously with going back on track. The food noise has been insane even tho i manage to keep busy and the cravings just keep coming. I honestly dont know how i even managed it back then. I do exercice a bit, i do 1h walks everyday and i come back quite hungry which is weird because before vacation walking did not have that effect on me. I should probably stack up on fruits so Im not tempted to snack on much more caloric stuff at those times.
I know -15 kg (33lbs) by june/july is realistic if i lose half a kg or a pound a week, but i dont want to keep struggling until its not a even somewhat realistic goal anymore, i want to be “done“ with losing weight by june/july and just be maintaining or putting on muscle afterwards.
Edit: i forgot to say what i eat oops. My goal is to eat 1450 cal a day, but i usually go up to 2100 cal. Last year i was eating 1680 cal tho so i wonder if i should go back up to that.
