Hello, I have been trying to lose weight/ body fat for almost two years now. I have lost 33 lbs so far and building/ maintaining my current muscles. From my previous body scan from the gym, it says I only lost like 2% of 40% body fat and I have been struggling in decreasing that percentage and moving the scale. I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice?
What I am currently:
5'4 ft women, 21 years old, current weight 157 lbs, fat is mostly store around legs and face
Issues with menstrual cycle (I added this because it affects my life crazily): super hunger a week before and current week of time (I try to not eat crazy during it)
Here is what I been doing so far:
Calories budget of 1,300 per day, work out at least 3-4 times a week (two leg days, arm day with core exercises, optional full body for the fourth day), I do physical work and school, so I usually walk around 8,000-10,000 steps a day so I don't do cardio while working out just 5-10 mins to warm up or cooling down. I try to eat at least 100 grams of protein but there are days I eat at least 50 grams when I'm not working out. I like to use gym machines to do exercise and go up weight by adding at least 5lbs a week or two, but I am trying to incorporate exercise that use dumbbells or smith machine.
Also: I have been told I look different but maybe its body dysphoria that I don't see it on my face but on my legs and arms only. I have always had a lot of fat on my face since I was a baby, and I have always been chubby, but I lost good amount of weight recently after reaching 190lb. I don't know if that have an effect on me since I have always been on the heavier side.
