Hey all, I'm curious what you listen to when you look out, but not just music. I exclusively listen to audio books and some podcasts, depending on my routine. When I'm on lower intensity cardio days. Im usually just jamming to a work related piece of literature (discussing the impact of primary care offices in a eork campus gets me pumped for bench press PRs). However, on days where I'm trying to push intense cardio, I look for any audio where the actual narration or story gives me motivation.
Currently, I'm listening to "Never Finished" by David Goggins. If you know him, I cannot stress enough howterrible his books are for fitness advice. Both of his books are "one man's unprocessed childhood trauma leads to pathological obsession with pushing the limits of human fitness". However, when I listen to his books, my high intensity aerobic workouts almost always get stretched from 45 minutes to 60 minutes.
Do you have any go to audio like this? If so, what is it?
