Weight gain after incorporating exercise with my calorie deficit?

Hi everyone,

To preface everything, I am 22F 5'6", ~120 lbs, BF% 23.7. My goal weight is 115 lbs. I have been struggling with my calorie deficit recently; I started at about 130 lbs in September 2024 and with a slight deficit, was down to 118.7 lbs two weeks ago. This was with minimal exercise though; if I did work out, it would be at most 3x a week and it would be for 30 mins-1 hour of cardio (running or 12-3-30 style incline walking) or a YouTube strength training workout, nothing more. And again, it was honestly probably only a handful of weeks total that I did that from September to February. However, 2 weeks ago, I decided to become a little bit more intentional about the last few pounds of my deficit, because as my weight dropped, I found that eating at a deficit for my weight and activity multiplier (sedentary) was going to be extremely difficult for me - most TDEE calculator websites put a 0.5lb weight loss per week as 1200-low 1300 calories and I did not find that to be sustainable. So, I decided to start working out 5x a week for 30 mins doing the same cardio I was doing before (running or 12-3-30) so that I could still lose weight by eating more calories, which in the past 2 weeks has been anywhere from high 1300-mid 1500 calories. However, the scale has gone up and has been steady at 123.7 lbs since I've implemented everything. I am very confused as to what is going on and feel like I have to be eating very few calories to lose any weight beyond what I have already lost. I was wondering if anyone has any guidance on what to do, or if I am doing something wrong.

Also side note I am very intentional with my deficit; I weigh all oils/sauces etc. and use a food scale. I think my sedentary maintenance is around 1500cal and I burn about 200-240 cal in my cardio workouts according to my Apple watch.
