Hello everyone so basically I'm currently 95kg/209lbs, down from 165kg/363lbs and now I'm sort of stuck. This here is how I'm currently looking. I still have a lot of body fat, obviously. But, people have also pointed out my lack of muscle mass which got me thinking, how much further should I "cut" before I try to build a better base? My worry is if I just continue cutting him here I'll just continue to be a smaller fatter version of myself. One of the main reasons for my lack of muscle mass is that from the ages of 15 -> 24 I was almost entirely sedentary, I barely moved at all. I hate how my belly overhangs its the thing I'm most conscious of it makes wearing clothes really difficult as I pretty much have to pull things nearly up to my rib cage so it doesn't stick out of the fabric.
Is the solution just keep cutting down to a healthy weight from here (somewhere around 75-80kg) or, would I be better off cutting down a little bit more (maybe to around 85-90) and then recomping? I'm honestly not sure, I want to overhang to shink it bothers me so much but will purely being in a deficit for an extended period of achieve that, or do I need to build muscle too?
