Bed rotting and walking

Bed rotting and walking

I know this might be a stupid question. But if I lay in bed like 6-7 hours but I get up for 2 of those hours and get 10,000 steps, is it still beneficial? On my 3 days off I literally just bed rot because I’m depressed and honestly just have nothing to do and don’t want to go out in the world. So I’ve been getting up every few hours and doing a walks to get 10,000 steps. Is it still helpful? Or am I going to undo my progress by still laying around?

On the 4 days I do work, I’m a server working long shifts, so my days off I just want to chill. But I don’t want to cause any damage by laying around. But if it’s okay, I want to do it that way. I hope that makes sense!
