I finally got my goal, then another handful of what I like to think as "buffer pounds" so when I up my caloric intake and inevitably gain a little back, I'll still be on track.
What I haven't felt before (weight has fluctuated since my late teens so no stranger to dieting) is the stress surrounding the thought of gaining it back.
I'm mid-40's and I think it's the realization that the older I get, the easier it is to gain and harder it is to lose the lbs.
Physically I feel amazing right now - I don't dread buying clothes or battling the "what outfit hides X/Y/Z that's too big". But mentally it's like a horrible threat lurking of going back to where I was.
Anyone have tips on how to maintain while not stressing about it?
