Your chafing journey

Would love to know, if you can remember: 1. Your weight gain/loss timeline 2. At what weight/height or BF% you started to chafe between the thighs 3. If applicable, at what point you stopped chafing again

Feel free to summarise instead

I’m curious because I personally gained a bunch of weight and got some stretch marks on my inner thighs, and that’s when I think I started struggling a lot with chafing, especially in warmer weather.

I’ve since gone below the weight at which I started chafing, but it hasn’t gone away. I always have to wear men’s anti-chafing underwear (skintight long trunks), which work incredibly well but it would be lovely to be able to wear more luxurious and less “this guy’s got a weight issue” undies again one day.

I suspect I may always struggle with chafing now because the stretch marks mean that my inner thigh skin is particularly tender, but I’d love to have some hopium to look forward to.

Im a 6ft 30yo man and went from around 180lbs to 220lbs around 5 years ago, which is around when I started having problems. Now at 195lbs and still chafin’

My legs aren’t muscly at all btw. Also I know this will be partly due to genetics, which is why I’m interested in timelines/before and afters of people who gained and lost or vice versa.
