Reached a high weight of 338lbs in January 2021. Did IF off and on for 2 years, and got to 328 in January 2023. That's when I started CICO and things really started to click for me.
Over the next year and a half, I got super sick so many times due to teaching, and would drop a bunch of lbs and then gain it all back when I was feeling better. After the last sickness in February this year, I just didn't bounce back to tracking my CICO and I shot up to 340 in April. So that's my new HW ever.
Now it's summer break and I've been rocking the CICO, just got a 45 day streak! And I'm back to 328, my pre-CICO starting weight. My goal of 300 (doing small increment goals to keep motivated) is projected for early December and I really want to hit it this time.
I'm not doing a tracked IF but generally not eating anything after dinner and pushing back breakfast is helping me. Not smoking weed at night has really cut down on my urge to graze. The app, r/Finch, has changed my life for the better and helps me stay on track, as well as r/volumeeating fruit and veggies.
I use LoseIt to track my CICO. Adding my own recipes and common things we eat makes it so simple and learning about appropriate serving sizes/portions has been been a total game changer for me.
Rooting for all of us!
