Okay, so I'm 19F and I'm 5'11 and weigh about 152lbs. I want to lose about 10-15lbs and I want to tone up. The problem is, I'm struggling with the nutrition aspect of it. Like, I've been trying to count calories but I'm sometimes unable to find the correct amount of servings or calories per website and I've heard many conflicting opinions from different websites on what to eat and I know it depends per person.
I plan to start working out at my university gym and I've left a message asking if they could get back to me in hopes I could meet one-on-one with like a personal trainer or someone to help me with an individual nutrition/work out goal plan, but they haven't gotten back to me.
I'm worried about the food aspect too, because I've been restricting a lot of what I'm eating, and usually eat about two things per day that are high in protein. I was really into snacking and junk food before so I've definitely limited that. The thing is, sometimes foods that you think are healthy aren't, and are actually high in protein/calories/fats. I feel really ashamed when I eat foods that are going to potentially make me fatter or maintain my already heavy weight. This isn't ideal because I want to lose weight ASAP. I'm frustrated with the nutrition part of it and want some guidance. Do you have some easy nutrition/toning up advice to start out with for a newbie?
