Question for you guys, that have maintained your goal weight for at least 5 years

Hello!

I am very impressed and also very interested about how you guys managed to maintain your goal weight for such a long time. Since I know that a clear majority regain the weight within 5 years. I myself reached my goal weight a month ago, SW 200 to GW 160lbs, M38 and 5’10.

And I struggle with urges to overeat whole days. I think about eating all the time. Even if I try to eat often, I feel the need to eat more. I eat plenty of vegetables and fruits, that helps me a lot. I never eat candy, fast food etc. I urge for the decently healthy foods like fruits, hard bread, unsweetened yoghurt etc.

  1. Was it the same for you? How long time did it take before it disappeared (if it did)?

  2. How and what do you eat during a day?

  3. Anything that you felt have helped you a lot?
