Appetite is like non existent

So I’ve been in a calorie deficit for almost 4 months now and I’ve successfully lost around 40lbs. All of the sudden my appetite is like not present. In the morning I can go so long without eating and then when I do eat I don’t need a lot of food. I’m having such a hard time eating because I don’t want to eat a lot of carbs (I usually end up around 100g) but with not eating a lot of carbs it’s extremely hard to hit my calories. Yesterday I had eaten about 1100 calories but then I walked for an hour and burned a lot of calories so I forcibly ate a spoon of peanut butter because my net calories would have been like 850 if I didn’t eat it. I don’t know if my stomach has just gotten used to a smaller amount of food or what. I’m not purposely trying to not eat I literally just don’t feel hungry like I used to. Im scared that this is going to hurt my body. How can I get my appetite back? I made chicken salad lettuce wraps for lunch yesterday and I got full after only like half the meal which was not good since I need to eat the calories. I don’t know what’s going on with me and it’s kind of worrying.
