If I make sauce out of like soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, hoison sauce, garlic, ginger and honey and they're like sizes of 1/2 cup or 1/3 cup or 2tbsp, how does one actually track the calories when added to foods like chicken? Yeah you can track them each seperate of course and then add it up but how do you divide it? How do you know if you're actually correct in your division. Like yeah you could be like okay i made 8 pieces of chicken and added this all to 8 pieces and divide by 8 maybe but like how do you know?? What if i add butter into the mix? I know butter is like 100 cals a tbsp so if im adding 4tbsp of butter to a recipe that just seems like alot. I started weighing my food lately cause before when I was just eating I noticed I gained weight and now that I weigh and track my food, im noticing i was eating more than i thought i was
