I am not overweight but I have gained about 5 kilos. I want to get rid of these kilos. Now I am analysing the situation. I eat too much and eat too much candy. I have increased the dose of a medication that causes 30 per cent to gain 10 kilo or more. First of all, I cannot rely on the feeling of having enough food anymore. If I do I eat too much. When medication changes I quickly gained two kilos. So I need to open my eyes and be aware of the size of portions I eat. Of course, eating high protein content may help. Secondly, I need to change my behavior in another way. I very often feel like giving myself a treat -food, candy, liquor. Got to stop that. Tonight I thought it was a good idea to have some special hot wine with spices (Swedish thing). It’s ok to treat myself sometimes but not often. Thirdly, I need to stick to plan and believe I will reach my goal. Currently I might have lost one kilo but I want progress to be faster. Not the right mindset. Change can be slow,it’s ok.
