How to know if you lost too much muscle?

I went from 149 to 123 lbs (5'6) with dieting and almost no sports. I'm trying to maintain now with around 1600 kcals daily but I'm somehow still continuing to lose a bit of weight (about 1kg/6 weeks). I feel like my arms got really weak. My hands feel weaker, too. Is it possible this is due to the weightloss, even though I always made sure to eat enough protein? I started to train my arms a little at home but I feel it's not helping. What would you do? Maybe it's just the cold temperatures? I am still eating a lot of protein. I don't want to measure my body fat/muscle distribution as I got a little obsessed with dieting and I'm afraid seeing the body fat percentage might encourage me to lose too much weight.
