How did you start running ? and how did you avoid injuries?
It's been years and years since I've last runned. I've put on a lot of weight since then, till I've reached obesity.
I wanna try running again, but don't know how to go about this. I don't know how to start and I'm afraid of injuries.
Last time I tried, I couldn't run more than a few seconds. My podiatrist told me that it's safe for me to run if I wear insoles, and that it wouldn't hurt me. He even advised me to do so, as weightloss will help ease joints pain.
But I'm still afraid. I would like to hear from someone who started running while being obese. (And even if you're not, I'm taking any advice).
