Returning to my deficit after a "maintenance break"

Ive lost 75 pounds over the last 2.5 years. It has been slow weightloss, but still weight loss none the less. But the last few months have been brutally slow. Like..1 pound a month slow. 2 pounds on a good month. Which is surprising to me because I have been the most consistent I have ever been for the last 4 months or so. And I know weight loss slows down as you approach your goal.. but I'm 5 ft 2 179 pounds. I am still considered obese.. so you'd think I'd be losing at a good pace.

I've been eating at 1300 calories on and off for the last 2.5 years. I think I made the mistake starting my deficit of 1300cals because now when I probably need to go lower.. I really shouldn't dip lower than that. Especially because I lift weights 3x a week.

Some friends flew in last weekend, this week has been thanksgiving, I have another friendsgiving tonight. So for the last week and a half I have been on a "maintenance break." I have still been working out but I have not counted any calories and eating a little more than I would usually (but nothing extreme). I have to say I really do miss this - being able to eat whatever I want without having to track every item that I consume.

Tomorrow I am going to return to my deficit. I am really hoping this little maintenance break was enough to break out of this plateau!
