Life after being a university athlete

I’m a 22 year old female. 5’7 SW: 193 CW: 183 GW: 150.

I was a university athlete which meant that I was working out/practicing/playing games at least 6 days a week. I got into the habit of eating whatever whenever because I knew that I was burning more calories than I was eating. I started my first year at 156, put on a lot of muscle that year and was 170 at my peak performance. Unfortunately when I played my last game, I didn’t stop eating the way that I was used to but I did spend less time exercising.

April 11th 2020 I weighed myself and I saw 193 which is the heaviest that I had ever been in my life. That was the day that I decided that I would turn my life around and be better. I started IF about a week after that, started being really conscious about what I’ve been eating (using the lose it! app to track what I eat), and started working out or running 5 days a week (with a Nike Training Club plan that includes runs). I was so excited today to see 183 on the scale! I know I have a long way to go but I’m really excited to be on this journey!!

I haven’t really told any of my friends I was doing this but I felt proud and wanted to share with someone so I figured this would be a good place to go :)
