Hi guys,
I successfully lost over 20kg in a 6 month period almost two years ago now, and this left me within 10kg of my goal weight, yay!
Then life happened and I moved back home, maintained for a year and I've been gaining ever since. I can make a reasonable attempt for a few weeks at most before I just lose control.
I'm just constantly so hungry and get consumed by cravings. I know they say cravings are supposed to pass relatively quickly but mine persist for days until I just eat whatever is bugging me. I've always got food on the brain. I try and drink plenty of fluids, I eat my fruits and veg, I get protein and I allow a small daily sugary treat to stave off the sugar cravings.
I just still feel insanely hungry. I can eat lunch and still want more. I try and pace out my meals with snacks in-between to keep some level of fullness through the day and still feel hungry. Once I get a craving it consumes me.
I did this so effortlessly the first time. I don't want to keep gaining, I don't want to have these strong cravings and inevitably give in to them. I just don't know how to get a handle on them or my hunger.
Any advice or tips that I could try?
