Making some lifestyle changes today.

So let’s start with the numbers. I’m 30, 5’9, and around 300 lbs. yeah. I am on my feet all day at work, but my eating habits suck. A pizza, a bag of Doritos pop tarts ect.

For the last 2 weeks I’ve completely shut out caffeine and soda, (which obviously has tons of caffeine as well as the sugar) I was drinking easily 4 or so energy drinks a day, plus sodas, plus more crap.

I’ve replaced soda with carbonated water (la Perrier or similar off brand) and no flavors. I wanted to stop the soda and caffeine because I’m 30, 300lbs and want to have as much time with my family, as well as not influencing my stepsons eating habits.(5, so very impressionable right now)

I’m going to get one of the suggested calorie counting apps, but would like advice as to what I should do from here. I haven’t noticed much weight change, but it’s only been and I haven’t actually stepped on a scale since dropping the sodas. I’m tempted to just cut all added sugar out and simply not eat processed stuff, but want something sustainable for me. I tend to get into things pretty hard, so if I can make this realistic I know I will stick with it. Not sure I want to add exercise just yet. I know that’s lame, but I’m already on my feet 9-12 hours a day as it is, so not only am I tired after work and family, but there isn’t much more time left. I play vr games and started walking in place when walking in the game, that’s all I got for now lulz. Kind of a ramble, it’s late, and I’ve been a bit zoned out from the lack of caffeine. Thanks for reading whatever this was.
