At the end of February I decided enough was enough, I had put on substantial weight following 3 knee surgeries (blown ACL and torn meniscus), and years of eating like shit. I cut out all pop (I was a big Mt. Dew drinker) and have been sticking to roughly 1500 calories a day while trying to walk at least 5 miles.
Over the last week I have cut back further on my carb intake and saw some more significant losses.
My first goal was to get under 300 by July 1, 2019. And to my ultimate goal weight by July 1, 2020 (my 29th bday). I feel like I’m well on my weight toward that goal and am going to ramp up the cardio once I hit 300 (been trying to keep it low impact for the sake of my knees.)
