I have been rather self conscious about my appearance/weight/athletic ability for a while. My main motivation for the past year or so was cosplay, but it hasn't helped me reach my goals because I could always go with the character who is not in skin tight clothing. That would just be a goal in the future. Two years in and I still haven't reached that goal.
HOWEVER, I now have a motivation that is more urgent. I want to join the Air Force as a pilot, and to do that, I need to pass a fitness exam. Which means I need to get fit, and possibly lose weight. For the past week, I started a workout a friend made for me to do daily, but every other day is what I actually did.
Today is the day where I am going to do it daily.
Today is when I am going to eat better.
Today is when I finally take control of myself and later becomes now.
It might be 9pm, but it is still today and I can start.
So I shall now stop lurking the sub, and start working towards my goals.
