I have been recently trying to cut calories and have been doing a decent job at it.
I am recovering from an ACL injury, so most of my workouts are weight training oriented. I do like 15 mins of cycling or the crosstrainer but I don't run on the treadmill because of the ACL recovery.
Last week, I changed it up a bit and went to the football/soccer field and ran around a bit to see how it felt in general. Doing cardio just burst open hunger gates. I felt hunger like I did not feel for a really long time. I find it extremely weird because I lift weights everyday and it doesn't hit me this hard. I really enjoy lifting weights and when I get back, I am really tired but I don't feel this hungry at all.
I tried this out a few times to experiment and it is weird that while weight training tired me out physically a lot more than football/soccer drills but it doesn't spike my hunger as much. While football/soccer drills make me stupendously hungry.
Anyone has had this kind of an experience? Or is more like that each person's body is different.
