I have a complicated history with my weight, as I feel many people here do. I'm a 22 year old female, 5 foot 11, current weight 207, starting weight 210. I've tried meal replacement shakes. Keto. Paleo. Severe calorie restriction. Vegetarian. Intermittent fasting. For me, any things thay make food a "strict" no is a bad idea.
With all of this in mind and months of lurking in loseit, I decided to reopen myfitnesspal, set a reasonable goal, and punt the all or nothing attitude. A few days ago, I had a huge pizza craving and it fit my macros, so I ordered from papa John's. I ate 2 amazing pieces of the works pizza, and it was great. But ever since then, I haven't wanted to sacrifice my macros and calories to fit in the pizza. Never before would a pizza sit in my fridge uneaten for days. I would ignore my cravings for days, then order a whole pizza and eat it all.
I guess the point of this post is to say thank you for a new outlook involving moderation and self love instead of strict self hatred. Little victories!
