I have so much respect for the people who have changed their life and reached their goals!

This is coming from someone who has been working his ass off for years trying to lose a relatively small amount of weight and has always found it to be very difficult. I have also struggled with addictions and adversity, and know how hard it can be to stick with something for so long. I have mad respect for you (as long as you've done it in a healthy way).

I know what it's like to want something so bad and to work so hard for so long, just to be set back from one brief moment of weakness. I know what it's like to know what you have to do, and relatively speaking it shouldn't be that difficult, but your own brain keeps getting in the way. I know what if feels like to be around people who aren't as health conscious, and they're all ordering pizza and beer while you're trying to figure out how that will fit into your calorie goals. I know how it feels to be completely derailed by some life changing event, and try to keep your focus on your goals. I know how easy it is to get discouraged, quit trying, and go back to doing what is more comfortable for you.

So to all of you people who have overcome so many challenges and stuck to reaching and maintaining their goals, you are truly an inspiration. I really love reading all of the success stories on here, it makes me happy to hear about others success in this.

If you are ever feeling down because nobody has seemingly noticed or complimented you, just remember to be proud of yourself for your hard work. I know as human beings we like to have approval from others, so at the very least, you have mine.
