So, I work 8-5 M-F. I had always been a strict, “must have breakfast” person. Well, after trying NOT eating breakfast last week, I can say, “Huzzah! Hooray me! I don’t HAVE TO eat breakfast first thing in the morning! I’m actually not even hungry when I initially wake up. Woo who!” On the other hand... my stomach starts growling and I get actually hungry probably about 9:30-10 am. This is the most inopportune time with work; right in the middle of the busiest part of my day. So, I get cranky/irritable/moody if I haven’t eaten by about 10:45-11. I don’t go to lunch until noon. This presents a problem. If I listen to my body, stop working, and eat something around 9:30, I’m not hungry again until about 1:30ish...way after lunch when I am definitely working again. So the question I guess is do I just stick it out and wait until noon (when I’m more likely to snack/go get something/eat whatever’s in front of me) or eat when my body tells me (and try to put off work/eat while working/not slow down and enjoy my lunch/won’t be hungry come lunch time)?
