Hi all, I’m new here so I’m unsure about your usual protocol.
I moved to another city for work last year, after which I’ve put on about, or more than 10kg, I’m not extremely overweight but it’s at a point where I feel embarrassed with my partner now. I’m not so tall, about 5’11 and I’m around 90-95kg. I’d like to be in my low to mid 70s.
I struggle to sleep, end up tired and hungry almost all day and cannot be bothered to cook or exercise.
Throughout the day at work I’ll have fruit, water and coffee (free at the office) and avoid dinners until some days I give in and have big lunches & dinners because I’m so hungry. For breakfast I have “breakfast-replacement” milk drinks that are about $1 each.
I find that after these meals I feel sick and regretful, and scared that I’m falling deeper and deeper into a very unhealthy loop.
I detest exercise and cooking, money plays a part in this as I’m reluctant to spend on groceries to cook, or exercise gear/gym membership and my work is quite sedentary. Where can I start?
I’m going to try my best to at least do some exercises in the mornings and evenings in my apartment, such as push ups and sit-ups, but I don’t think this will be enough. I need some suggestions, please.
