Counting Calories is Actually Easy

I recently began my journey to ‘Lose it’. Age 36. Husband and father. 377.4 lbs.

I put off counting calories for years because I thought it would be difficult to add up all the calories in recipes and ordered meals.

At the suggestion of this sub, I downloaded the MyFitnessPal app and I’m blown away by how organized it is. This makes tracking my calories easy. I can store frequent meals and create recipes. But nothing beats the ability to scan a food’s barcode and get instant nutrients information and portions.

After 1 week. I am down 2.8 lbs. from just changing my diet. I’ve not yet begin an exercise routine, but I’m optimistic for the first time in my life.

This time I’m going to make it. I got this.
