From 220 pounds to 165

Hi r/loseit

I've been a lurker for quite a while and wanted to share my luck with you guys/girls.

Ive been overweight for quite a few years of my lifelife. When i was around the age of 12 i weighed around 175 pounds and it went up all the way to 220 by the age of 18. Now im 22 years old and around 6ft tall and i weigh around 165.

I was always lazy and loved junkfood and gaming and my parents kelt telling me if i keep living this lifestyle it would have bad consequencs. But i wouldnt listen and though i wasnt that fat at all.

Luckily my parents took action into their own hands and only buy candy that i didnt like and no more soda. In 1 year i already lost 15 pounds, i know it isnt alot but i already felt so much better. And once i finished my degree and started working a job that costs alot of physical excercise my weight kept dropping :). I am so happy to say that my bmi finally reached the green light :)

And for the rest of you that are have this journey: i know you can do it, and always remember to smile ( that has helped me the most )
