I am a 5'5" female who is 23 years old.
Mid July I stepped on the scale for the first time in years and saw that I weighed 145 lbs. The last time I weighed myself was when I was 17, right before graduation, and I was 120 then. In 6 years I gained 25 pounds.
This isn't so bad, I realize, and so many others have it so much worse but, I've steadily started to hate how I look since graduating high school. Seeing the numbers just rushed all that hate back and I knew I had to change.
I stopped eating junk food, started keeping track of my calories and today I am now 139 lbs!
I don't know whether I want to go back to 120 lbs, but for now I'm okay with going down by 5 lb increments. So my next milestone is 135 lbs. I hope I can get to that by early/mid October!
