I was a depressed kid at 16.... I had absolutely nothing going for me at the time except eating really good food and playing video games.
I would go through cycles of not feeling ok about myself and my image ,but would make no advance to change it based on my thought that it would be way too hard. I was a lazy fat loser that would call myself it too.
I didn't get a real wake up call of NEEDING to change until I stepped on the scale at school and it read 280... It was a dreadful moment and felt worse than usually for the next week or so. I thought for sure I was in the 250s or max like 260. It sucked ,but that number was the big motivator. It was time.
After the week or two of just feeling sorry for myself I decided I would finally try something to lose weight. I oddly got advice on the now completely dead app "yik yak" about downloading the lose it app... It was a GAME CHANGER I didn't realize it at the time ,but that was the start on the road to feeling better about myself in every field and getting healthy.
It started off great. I was completely strict the first couple months of the lose 2 lbs a week restriction and had weight flying off and it all felt so simple and like a math problem. Then for some reason I'm not sure what I didn't track for a couple days and those couple days turned into a few months of gaining 60% of the 30 lbs I lost back on the fat body.
I know there were more mind problems involved with it ,but I honestly can't remember how I was feeling. I started agaim and stuck with it this time with only small hiccups involved. I got all the way down to my 199.9 goal weight.
I was estatic and stayed there for a while until I decided 180 was the way too go and then after maintaining at 180 for an entire year I decided I wanted to go for some ab definition.... And lo and behold I went down to 160 and there they are and when these pictures were takin a few weeks ago at 165 even.
Only way to look better now is to improve muscle mass and I'm excited to on continuing working on this life long journey!!!
Any questions ask away I wrote this real quick with not to much thought into it and just wamted to share my excitment.
