I need advice about stalling in weightloss

I have been trying to lose excess weight since last October and, overall, it has been successful but I can't seem to lose more. I am a male, about 6 feet tall or a little over, and weigh about 252 pounds (down from 305 max recorded weight). I have been stuck in the 250 range since April.

I was sedentary for almost all the weightloss and it worked for awhile. For the past month and a half I have increased my exercise drastically from what it was before, and reduced calories to 1950 a day and track it very well.

I don't know where to go with this anymore and I'm starting to get discouraged and feel stuck. I don't have a gym membership, but I do some lifting at home as of recently, walk/ jog 2 times a week, and try not to eat crap when I go out with my friends, limiting some of the enjoyment of some social events but without the reasurance that it is aiding in weightloss.

I feel uncomfortable with my body and don't know what to do about it other than lose weight, and my weightloss has completely stalled. I would really appreciate some motivation and advice on where I'm screwing up or could do something better. Should I start measuring things other than weight and focus less on the scale? Should I focus on weightlifting instead of cardio (or vice versa)? Should I further cut my calories (even though I already think they are low)?

I think I also have developed an unhealthy relationship with food to the point where I don't appreciate anything on my plate, from appreciating everything on my plate. Most likely this comes from too much research on food resulting in flip flops of demonizing one food group or another. Any advice on also fixing this? I don't want to get to the point where I start forcing myself to expel food I just ate because of this.

Any advice on this and motivation is greatly appreciated and as always I wish success for you in your journeys to better yourselves!
