I maxed out at 234 lbs last year. I got scared so I didn't look at the scale after that. I spiraled into a drug and alcohol addiction that was nothing to do with the weight, just personal problems that I've been dealing with separately.
Back to the point, I'm down to 171.4 as of 30 minutes ago!
My wife left me in December (the drugs and the alcohol) which coincided with the beginning of a depression that I would never blame her for, it's just funny how things happen. ;]
I couldn't eat for the two months and ended up in a suicide ward after making a few attempts at my life. I'm an asshole and shouldn't have done that. Anyways, don't do what I did and stop eating, it's a stupid and reckless way to lose weight anyway.
I started eating again, and properly this time as to not fall into the trap of last time. I was in a high-end facility, luckily my father's health insurance covered it, which provided the meals and refused to let me skip meals anymore. Sobriety came with this and it's a new feeling. I got properly diagnosed as bipolar and started taking my meds properly. It's fucking hard. It's really fucking hard. Days like today, looking at the scale and seeing a proper number really help.
So I guess this is a story of recovery and progress! I'm super stoked to be not only at a weight I feel comfortable with but according to my body height and weight, I AM NORMAL WEIGHTED!!!!! Not under or over, just right!source: https://getcalc.com/health-bmi-171lb-6ft.htm
