My wedding is coming up next weekend, and I've been hard at work cutting, tracking and exercising to fit into my dress. My dress fits juuuuuust right with very little wiggle room, so I've been insanely careful in the past few weeks.
However, the night before the wedding we're having a mini-bachelorette party at an all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner show (Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Walt Disney World if anyone's familiar) and the food will be incredible and plentiful. Cornbread, fried chicken, bbq ribs, mac and cheese, strawberry shortcake, as well as all-you-can-drink sangria; aka very carb, calorie and sodium heavy. I know that I won't realistically put on any actual pounds because of this meal, but I am terrified of being so bloated the next day I struggle to zip my dress.
Besides the obviously smart advice to exhibit self-control and stick to my calories despite the feast, what can I do to help avoid a full-term food baby? I plan to go heavy on the water throughout the day and the meal, as well as fit in a run the next morning, but if you have any other tips or tricks I'd love to hear them!
